- "Pick one goal and focus on it." When you've completed it, then you can move on.
- "Start small and easy," with something you know you can do.
- "Simplify." Choose small goals or break larger goals down into obtainable chunks.
- "Write it down."
- "Keep track every day."
- "You have to want it."
- "Schedule the time" and keep it sacred!
- "Be firm but flexible." Keep yourself to commitments, but understand that you're not perfect and give yourself a break on the occasion that you can't fulfill your goal.
- "Be positive."
- "Pray about it." If you're religious like me, you may want to pray for confirmation that your goals are good, worthy goals that are right for you.
